HR Manager

Job description

The HR Manager will be responsible for the entire recruitment process, performance and talent management.

HR Manager should be a partner for the company management, project managers, team leads and provide them with advices and necessary guidance in HR-related matters to help them to keep all employees motivated and satisfied. 

HR Manager will be a member of the IPS management team.


  • Be responsible for the entire recruitment in the company

  • Propose and develop effective way of recruitment, meet effectively all local recruitment demands, be compliant with HR strategy and all approved recruitment policies like:

    • Establish and improve direct search

    • Gradually develop and improve company image on the labour market. It is valid for all positions ranging from graduates to senior executives.

  • Be responsible for regular and up-to-date reporting of recruitment process

  • Be responsible for updating of the recruitment database

  • Establish graduate program and recruitment

  • Lead HR generalist/recruiter

  • Carry out IT salary annual surveys

  • Participate in new employees’ selection process

  • Onboarding and off-boarding of employees

HR Department

  • Implement and administer company HR programs, policies and ensure continuous compliance with of existing company HR standards.

  • Define HR department goals and objectives respecting company vision, mission and values

  • Strengthen internal perception of HR role across the company

  • Develop strong working relationships with management and staff across the company, provide advices, guidance and coaching when needed

  • Plan and oversee HR annual budget

  • Report regularly and ad-hoc to management on matters related to assigned functional areas

  • Control the personnel administration and files

  • Maintain labor-law legal aspects

Performance Management

  • Upon company standards, lead an implementation of a performance management system

  • Develop, plan and administer programs, procedures and guidelines to help to align the staff with strategic goals of the company

  • Manage to set-up the measurable performance criteria and cooperate with/support the Project Managers/Team Leads during the quarterly evaluation period

  • Manage the evaluation plans, job models and succession planning

  • Remuneration and annual review of salary changes

  • Talent management

Training and Development

  • Develop and implement training and development initiatives to address the current and future training needs of further professional and managerial development of employees.

  • Via adequate trainings of development tools, support professional competences, motivation and loyalty of employees

  • Running of language in-house lessons

  • Teambuilding and company events, support company culture

  • Coaching

Your skills and experience

Professional knowledge:

  • University degree

  • Minimum 2 years experience with recruitment of IT positions

  • Minimum 5 years experience in HR role and experience within IT/technology company

  • Fluency in English and Czech

  • Experience with leading and people management

  • Knowledge of all HR disciplines and techniques

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbally and in writing)

  • Good overview of legislation

  • Systematic and organisational skills, ability to work independently
